About Bayonle
As a broadcast media and soccer professional, I have over two decades of experience in both industries. My extensive experience encompasses various roles, from communications and TV and radio production to digital marketing, sports events management, and leadership.
As a member of the U.S. Soccer Referee and a member of the U.S. Soccer Coach for a decade, my passion for soccer runs deep. In 2008, I founded Midas Football Academy in Nigeria, a project that has now evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Houston, Texas since April 2023. As a mission-driven project, Midas Football Academy’s mission is to use soccer as a tool for positive change. The
mission is to mentor children and teenagers from becoming at-risk youth using soccer and vocational education as tools to empower young individuals to discover their true purpose.
My dedication to vocational education stems from my own experience. I understand firsthand the importance of having practical skills as a foundation for a successful future. I graduated with a Radio and Television Broadcasting Diploma from Government Technical College Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, in 1999. This diploma marked the beginning of an illustrious broadcasting career.
After immigrating to the United States, my career trajectory expanded to include roles with Amazon, FedEx, and Goodman Manufacturing. In 2018, I joined the Texas
Department of Criminal Justice as a correctional officer, where I further honed my leadership skills and commitment to community safety.
Beyond my career and nonprofit work, I am also an accomplished author. In 2020, I authored “ROADMAP TO A SUCCESSFUL FOOTBALL CAREER (A step-by-step guide),” a valuable resource for aspiring footballers.
Additionally, I am behind ScoutBallers Soccer Recruiting, a unique marketplace that empowers football video creators to showcase athlete videos and upload stats. This platform is pivotal in connecting talented players with clubs and colleges.
My multifaceted career, dedication to empowering youth, and commitment to
the beautiful game of soccer exemplify my mission to create positive change in the world. My journey is an inspiring testament to the impact one person can make when driven by passion and purpose. Recently, I was selected to participate in the 2024-2025 Excellence for Non-Profit Leadership (ENL) Program sponsored by The George Foundation.

I love speaking to young people about the importance of finding a purpose early in life as well as the power of dreams and destroying limitations. I have appeared as a guest panelist at events and conferences globally with his 21 years’ experience and counting in broadcasting having worked with Murhi International Group owners of (MiTV and Star FM) & Daar Communications Plc. owners of Africa Independent Television (AIT and Raypower FM) in Nigeria as well as Millennium Broadcasting Channel in Houston Texas. I have produced and hosted many popular football shows including LIMITLESS SOCCER a weekly magazine show that features highlights of top leagues in Europe and the U.S Major League Soccer, as well as RUSSIA ROUNDUP, a show that profiled all the 32 nations that participated at the 2018 FIFA WORLD CUP in Russia. The show aired on African Broadcasting Network and Afrocentrik Television in Houston Texas USA.

EARLY-LIFE/BACK STORY: Born and raised in Nigeria and had most of my education and early career in Broadcasting and Entrepreneurship in Nigeria before moving to the United States in February 2015 to seek better opportunities. Arriving America with nothing but dreams in Atlanta but briefly lived in San Bernardino California before finding a home in Texas. Bayonle Studied Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies at the Harvard School of Business has a professional certificate in Football Management from The Football Business Academy in Switzerland and a certificate in Project Management from Google. The first of five children from his parents and had a very rough upbringing growing up in a polygamous family, Bayonle never allowed his environment or the obvious poverty around him to deter his dreams. He did many odd jobs to keep his dreams alive and also manages to take care of his family back home in Nigeria. Bayonle has worked with Amazon, FedEx, and The Texas Department of Criminal Justice honing his leadership skills.
